This scraper quickly and easily clears snow and ice. I'm very impressed by the design. The pivoting "Y" blades mean you can clear ice in both directions. For the thicker ice, the blades lock forward for reinforced scraping, and for the thickest ice, the wide blades lock back to expose the shorter front blade for concentrated ice breaking. I was sick of plastic scrapers breaking and chipping and this brass-edged scraper is the solution.
I doubt I'll ever need another ice scraper, and I plan to give these as gifts next Christmas. I highly recommend this item
